With proper preparation, the adhesive pads adhere particularly reliably to the toes. Many customers achieve a wear time of 7–14 days , often even longer, depending on footwear, moisture, and wear and tear.
After prolonged bathing or swimming, the adhesive strength can be reactivated by briefly drying with a hairdryer.
Contact with sand
Even during walks on the beach or contact with fine sand, the adhesive pads usually remain stable. Nevertheless, we recommend briefly checking your toenails afterward: fine sand can occasionally get under the nail and affect adhesion. If a nail seems loose, simply replace the adhesive pad and reapply the press-on securely.
Gentle removal
The pads can be removed without harsh chemicals. Simply soak your toes in warm water with a little oil and carefully peel off the press-ons – no chemicals or special removers required.
Optimal application
For the best possible liability, we recommend:
Lightly roughen toenails and thoroughly degrease them.
Gently push back the cuticles so that the adhesive pad is fully in place.
Clean the nail surface with alcohol (acetone is possible, but not recommended due to its aggressiveness).
Avoid contact with water as much as possible during the first three hours.
In case of unavoidable water contact: briefly dry with a hairdryer to reactivate the adhesive strength.
Choose the correct size adhesive pads so that the entire toenail is covered. Pads that are too small allow moisture and air to get under the nail, reducing their lifespan.
